MOV Ruck Club is moving to St. Joseph Landing
PARKERSBURG, W.V. (WTAP) – MOV Ruck Club is the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department’s community exercise group.
Rucking, simply put, is walking with weight, typically in a backpack (aka as a ruck).
Rucking is one of the fastest growing fitness trends in the United States currently because almost anyone can do it, and it is completely scalable to a person’s individual fitness level.
The MOV Ruck Club has been meeting on Wednesday nights now for two years and this week they are moving to their new starting location at St Joseph’s Landing.
They ruck on Wednesday nights from 5pm to 6pm.
The ruck club does have backpacks and weights that people can use to get started with; we even have kids sized rucks as well.
For more information about the MOV Ruck Club you can watch the interview with the MOV Health Department’s Community Health Director, Malcolm Lanham.
